AMES, Iowa and SAN RAMON, Calif. – March 21, 2017 – Workiva (NYSE:WK), a leading provider of solutions for enterprise productivity, and Armanino LLP, one of the largest independent accounting and business consulting firms in the nation, jointly announced today a strategic partnership to help companies modernize financial reporting and compliance.
With Wdesk, Armanino and its customers can now collaborate in real time on internal controls, thereby reducing errors and version control issues while streamlining the overall compliance process. Armanino will offer the Workiva Wdesk platform with its domain expertise and managed services to clients in the areas of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal controls, internal audit and other governance, risk and compliance (GRC) processes.
“Our partnership will help companies of all sizes realize more business value from their SOX and GRC programs,” said Matt Rizai, Chairman and CEO of Workiva. “By working together, we will help CFOs gain insights, make data-driven decisions and ultimately drive better business outcomes.”
With Wdesk permission controls, administrators can control access at all levels so that users can create, edit and review data and documents that only relate to them. This control feature also enables users to grant secure access to their external auditors, outside counsel and other consultants, which streamlines the review process and reduces expenses.
“Teaming with Workiva adds a valuable technology solution to Armanino’s streamlined approach to SOX consulting,” said Matt Armanino, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Armanino LLP. “We help our clients implement and operate internal controls in the most efficient and cost-effective manner by adding Wdesk to our services.”
