WebFilings is Now Workiva
Leading cloud-based provider evolves brand in response to strong demand for collaborative business reporting solutions
AMES, IA - July 1, 2014 - WebFilings, a leading cloud-based provider of business reporting solutions, is now Workiva. The new name reflects the strong demand for the company’s Wdesk product platform that is changing the way people work across the global enterprise. Workiva (pronounced work- eeva) already has more than 2,100 corporate customers, including over 60 percent of the Fortune 500 and Fortune 100.
Workiva disrupted the SEC reporting market four years ago when it transformed the way companies collect, manage, and report critical business data. Today, teams use Wdesk to collaborate on a wide range of compliance, risk, management, and sustainability reports with greater control, accuracy, and efficiency than ever before.
“To keep pace with our customers’ needs and meet the growing demand for our solutions beyond SEC filings, it’s time to change our name,” said Matt Rizai, Workiva Chief Executive Officer. “But changing our company name doesn’t change who we are. We’re the same people delivering the same world- class customer service and vision for how Wdesk can streamline work throughout the enterprise.”
Innovative live-linking technology ensures that Wdesk documents, spreadsheets, and presentations are always synchronized. Wdesk users control their business data by collecting it from a variety of formats and linking it directly to any source required. Coupled with a full audit trail, Wdesk provides users the accountability and confidence they need to create a large variety of documents, reports, and presentations for management, investors, boards, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Recent Wdesk enhancements include:
- Improved workflow automation, including data collection, which reduces reporting cycle times.
- New Wdesk home with a search function to find files 20 times faster; no more looking through emails and folders.
- Offline tablet support that lets users download reports to any tablet for review without a live internet connection.

Wdesk will continue to be the company’s product platform for all solutions. Workiva will retain the name WebFilings as an SEC solution in its platform, which currently files more quarterly and annual SEC reports than any other third-party provider.
