SOX & Internal Control and SEC Professionals Groups Seek Data for 2020 Surveys
COVID-19 has made working from home the new normal. While this necessary step has made it possible for many to continue working and stay healthy, it has also introduced new challenges for Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting teams and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) reporting professionals as they adapt to remote work, respond to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and reevaluate their programs.
The SOX & Internal Control Professional Group, and the SEC Professionals Group, global forums for SOX and SEC professionals to share ideas and best practices, are seeking insight from SOX and SEC professionals for the groups’ annual surveys, the state of the SOX and Internal Control Market Survey, and the state of the SEC Pro Benchmarking Survey.
The goal of the 2020 surveys are to arm SEC and SOX Professionals with relevant data, trends and topical issues for thought leadership. As SEC and SOX professionals pivot strategies and meet these new challenges, insight from the survey will be critical in helping teams realign and strategize.
“As we transition through the COVID-19 pandemic, and adjust to the 100% work from home format, SOX teams need the right tools to execute the compliance mandate effectively while working remotely,” said Camille Kearns Rudy, National Director of the SOX & Internal Controls and the SEC Professionals Group.
