Jeanette Franzel

Former Board Member, PCAOB

Jeanette is an internationally recognized board member, regulator, and audit executive with expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls. She was a member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) for six years through January 2018. Jeanette brought extensive audit experience to the PCAOB after a distinguished career at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). Jeanette was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People” by Accounting Today. She also received the GAO's Distinguished Service Award and AICPA's Outstanding CPA in Government Award. Jeanette has an MBA from George Mason University and a B.A. in Accounting and Spanish from the College of St. Teresa. She completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard University.
