We use Data Collection as well, so we can send requests out to various people in our department, and coming back in, we have that data integrity that we know we have to look at it before we put it into the document. So that’s really helped us just from a review feature because we’re really small and really streamlining that process.

We were getting spreadsheets emailed to us. We would save it in the drive. They would have a version in their drive. Sometimes the version would change, and they wouldn’t let us know. So now with Data Collection, we have those users uploading the exact evidence and the support that they want to the number that’s going into the document. We have it all linked, so once they bring in their documents, they fill in their cells, and it flows right into the document, and we don’t have to worry about us miskeying or misinterpreting a piece of information that came from those teams.

There’s an approval process on it so even with our finance team it has gone through two levels of review on our finance team before it hits our document, so we can feel good numerous people have looked at the document and the number and the support, and it’s all right, and it’s coming in, and it’s just one last thing our financial reporting team has to double- and triple-check because somebody else has already looked at it and approved it.

It’s very user-friendly. It’s sort of like people say Facebook and Amazon, no one ever taught you to use those two, and so I find Workiva is very similar to that. If you click around, you can find exactly what you need, and it's very user-friendly.

Oh, it has saved our company countless hours and probably at least two additional headcount from being added to our company, for not having to do that anymore and working with all of our vendors to automate files and to get things electronically has helped us maintain the size of our department.
