Hundreds of Internal Audit Hours Saved on SOX

"It's got a great audit trail. It's very, very granular," she said.

With the power to control external auditors' access to Wdesk, the team no longer has to download hundreds of pieces of documentation to send them.

"We all have pressures to keep our headcount down, and we really wanted a tool with flexible workflow. We got that. We wanted a tool where the externals could go in and do their own thing, but we can control it, and we got that," the internal audit director said.

Overall, the internal audit director conservatively estimates Wdesk will help the team eliminate 400 to 500 hours of SOX work next year, essentially paying for the platform.

"We've had a very, very good response from our C-level executives on Wdesk," she said.
