WebFilings is now Workiva

Workiva is now a publicly traded company
July 1, 2014

When WebFilings disrupted the SEC reporting market four years ago, we transformed the way enterprises collect, manage, and report critical business data. Since we released our Wdesk product platform in March 2013, teams across the enterprise now communicate and collaborate on a wide range of compliance, risk, management, and sustainability reports with greater control, accuracy, and efficiency than ever before.

Innovative live-linking technology ensures that Wdesk documents, spreadsheets, and presentations are always synchronized. Wdesk users control their business data by collecting it from a variety of formats and linking it directly to any source required. Coupled with a full audit trail, Wdesk provides users the accountability and confidence they need to create a large variety of documents, reports, and presentations for management, investors, boards, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Wdesk is a disruptive technology because it's changing how people and companies work. Our customers find new uses for Wdesk each day, and we find new ways to improve it. As part of our evolution, it's time to change our company name. So the company you know as WebFilings is now Workiva (pronounced work-eeva).

Changing our company name doesn't change who we are. We're the same people delivering the same world-class customer service. Wdesk will continue to be our product platform for all solutions, while the name "WebFilings" will brand our SEC solution only.

Even though we've grown what we do, how we do it with Wdesk remains the same. We are passionate about innovation and committed to earning and keeping our customers' trust each day. It's important to us that our customers love their work.

With Workiva, the possibilities are endless.
