Wdesk Unveils the April 2011 Release of its Revolutionary SEC Reporting Solution

April 29, 2011
We are excited to announce the April 2011 release of our industry leading end-to-end External Reporting Solution. This version of our solution includes several significant features and numerous enhancements that will further streamline the external reporting process for our customers. With our innovative cloud architecture, Wdesk is able to provide new functionality to our customers approximately every 1-2 months. Wdesk now fully supports the 2011 US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy. Understanding that it was not enough to simply support the new taxonomy, we have also developed an innovative guided migration workflow to aid our users as they transition from the 2009 taxonomy to the 2011 taxonomy. In addition, the April 2011 release includes a powerful new number rounding and number scaling feature set that will simplify the process of footing tables using precision based number overrides on one hand, and empower users to present the same number in multiple scales on the other. Quality and flexibility of printing hard copy documents was also a major focus of this release. A new publish-ready PDF option allows users to easily add leader lines, remove cell background shading and remove the visual appearance of hyperlinked text. Using this feature, users can create and send a PDF to be printed in a matter of minutes. We have also added the ability to create a PDF and print a single or any combination of document sections. Lastly, we've included nearly 50 other features and enhancements, most of which were direct requests from our valued customers. Current WebFilings customers can learn more about the April 2011 release by accessing the release notes page of the WebFilings help site.
