Thank you for attending TEC 2016

Every year the Wdesk user conference connects more than a thousand people in one incredible location for a few days of networking, learning, and fun. The Exchange Community is not only a way to inform and educate thousands of Wdesk users across the country, but it also promotes relationships between people, across industries, and with technology.

To all of the 2016 attendees—thank you. We hope you brought back valuable insights to your teams, increased your professional development, and started thinking about business pain points that Wdesk can help you solve.

We hope to see you at next year's conference in Las Vegas. Preregistration is open now.

For those of you who were unable to attend the conference last week or for attendees who may have missed a few activities, here's a list of our 10 top TEC moments.

10. Welcome reception at the pool
The conference started with a reunion of former TEC alumni and new attendees making new connections at the welcome reception overlooking the Coronado Bay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt pool deck.

9. Summits, boot camps, and special interest meetings
Between a day of industry expertise at the SOX summit, the SEC Professionals Group national meeting, and a few focused special interest meetings, attendees made new connections and gained deeper insights into the challenges facing their industries. And boot camps showed attendees how Wdesk can help them overcome those challenges.

8. Networking, networking, networking
Customers told us all week that new business connections and new connections within Workiva were equally valuable in helping them learn.

7. Customer panel keynote
A panel of compliance reporting executives spoke Wednesday morning about how to use technology to confront growing compliance demands.

6. TEC tokens and the Workiva Store
Thousands of TEC tokens were collected by attendees for participating in a variety of conference activities. They were traded in for limited edition Workiva merchandise.

5. Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat pilot in the U.S. Navy
Carey Lohrenz gave an excellent keynote presentation Thursday morning about achieving high performance under stressful, ever-changing business conditions.

4. Amy Cuddy, Harvard Business School Associate Professor
Amy Cuddy showed us how power poses and body language can positively affect your body's hormones, mood, and work.

3. USS Midway Mixer
Guests were treated with dinner, drinks, live music, ship tours, and flight simulator experiences at our first-class Thursday night event. We capped the night with a spectacular fireworks show.

2. Customers inspire Wdesk features
We build Wdesk to accommodate the needs and wants of our users. Customer feedback is what makes Wdesk essential to teams around the world. At TEC, our customers learned how their input helped shape Spreadsheets and our enhanced mobile experience. And Mitz Banarjee, VP of Global Services, challenged attendees to partner with Workiva to solve business pain points.
