When we first saw a Wdesk demonstration, we were coming off an especially difficult Q3 10-Q filing. We had a number of version control conflicts and we also added some tables, which had always been a struggle for us, whether we were using Word tables or Excel tables. After the Wdesk demonstration, we decided to become a customer, starting with our 10-K filing. The application gave us the ability to exercise a greater degree of quality control over the final product and enabled us to focus more on the content of the document and less on the process. Our management was a bit uneasy about using a new method for our 10-K filing, but because we could always export the document from Wdesk into Word and ship it off to a printer, they agreed to let us try the product. We set up the document before year-end and were able to begin working on editing the document as soon as we completed the financial closing. I believe that the total time requirement to both implement Wdesk and complete the filing of the 10-K was less than the time we would have spent creating the document in Word and going through the traditional process of filing with a financial printer. The Wdesk solution is easy to use and the learning curve is very shallow. Wdesk has also reduced our stress levels and increased our confidence, because we have more control over the quality of the document.
