How one solution helped a handful of departments

Like many of our customers, AES Corporation chose Wdesk to streamline its financial reporting process. But after only a quarter, the team realized the application could be used in many other ways.

"Immediately, we saw the opportunity to bring all investor relations into Wdesk to have one version of the truth and consistency," Mike Farrow, Senior Manager, says. 

Today, the corporation's legal, investor relations, human resources, and financial departments are all using Wdesk for different purposes—to create and store earnings materials, press releases, CFO and CEO scripts, business scorecards, proxy statements, Q&A documents, and more.

Dana Farmer, Team Lead, loves that presentations, like those for the audit committee, are being created in Wdesk and are linked to information in other documents. The team takes comfort know that everything it share publicly is consistent.
