Don't Lose Your Cool During K Season

Reporting teams are busy enough in their lives outside of work. But when the time comes to file a 10-K, everything seems to fall by the wayside and the pressure is on. Add in a few unexpected twists and it can get messy, real quick.

That's exactly where Sharon Huang found herself when it was time for her company, Aviat Networks, to file its annual report. “Due to an unexpected change in my schedule I was going to be out of the office the date we were planning to file our 10-K," said Huang.

For most this would have been enough for a full-on meltdown. Luckily Huang and her team had Wdesk, that's accessible from anywhere that has an internet connection, for real-time collaboration.

"With Wdesk, I was able to file remotely," Huang said. Everything went as planned.

But the real problems always seem to come when you're least expecting them.

"I had another situation when an unplanned 8-K needed to be filed while I was on vacation out of the country," Huang explained. No worries here though, "Again, with Wdesk, I was able to file while I was outside of the country.”

No matter if you're on the couch with a cold or on the beach working on your tan, Wdesk is there to keep you in touch with your team.
