As champions of connected reporting and compliance, Workiva is focused on filling in communication gaps, whether those gaps involve systems of reporting or the people involved in that process.
Connectivity and communication drives Workiva Amplify—helping reporting and compliance professionals improve their use of Workiva solutions and building a network of fellow users in your neighborhood.
The meetings take place year-round, across the country—from the Silicon Valley to New York City, and they offer a quick taste of our annual user conference, Workiva Amplify.
"These collaborative meetings are centered around you: helping you engage with the Workiva platform, offering tips and tricks to making the most of your investment, and learning from reporting and compliance professionals," says Senior Director of Product Marketing Matt Crawford.
Your community, your solutions, your Amplify Local
Since connected reporting and compliance is the flagship initiative for Workiva, and Workiva Amplify is the flagship event for users, Matt recognized an opportunity to connect the two and better serve teams by revamping user groups into Amplify Local.
But it's much more than a simple name change, he says.
"These team-focused meetings aim to build a community with and around Workiva," says Matt. "Connections in the community are based on learning and collaborating with one another, while educating practitioners how to better connect their reports and their teams across solutions."
More than that, there's a unique sense of togetherness that users can't experience anywhere else.
"The first thing you'll notice about Amplify Local is the sense of unity among our users," says Matt. "Everyone has a story to share about how they overcame a challenge or created a unique resolution to a problem. Those stories help users grow as professionals and are enormous for us as we build Workiva solutions."
Plus, it's a great opportunity to develop your team's skills simultaneously. As one attendee in Chicago told us, "I was able to bring my whole team to Amplify Local, and they all benefited from it."
While Amplify Local isn't a replacement for our annual Workiva Amplify conference—there's no analogue for a community of 2,200+ users under one roof, says Matt—it's a perfect way of staying connected to and getting more from Workiva.
